Salad Spinner
Vinegar

As a result of toxins in the air caused from motor vehicles and various types of engines and emissions from factories and all the impurities in the atmosphere, you must properly prepare your herbs and vegetables before consuming them. Here are a few tips I can give you on how to clean your herbs/vegetables before using them. Prepare a large bowl or your sink for washing. Place your herbs into the containter and make sure the water covers them entirely. You also need to have Vinegar, Peroxide or some strong acidic water and a salad spinner to get rid of excess water.

Vinegar is one of my favourite liquids to use for cleaning because it is so readily accessible and inexpensive. Use any kind of vinegar and add it to your water, then rinse your herbs. Use the 1-3 ration of vinegar to water.

After rinsing your herbs, spin them in your salad spinner to remove the excess water from the leaves. Now they are ready!

A salad spinner is handy to have in the kitchen. The job of the salad spinner is to get rid of the excess water on the leaves of the herbs or vegetables. I suggest you wash your herbs before drying them for future use.

Removing the excess water makes it easier for you to work with the leaves of the plants and then setting them out to dry.

Hydrogen Peroxide is amazing when it comes to killing germs, bacteria etc. Make a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and pour about a table spoon into your water.

Let your vegetables or herbs or whatever you're washing soak in this water for about 5 minutes and then give a final rinse to remove excess dirt or bugs. This is probably the best way to clean your herbs.

Strong acidic water taken from your Kangen machine, that produces Alkaline water is perfect for washing your herbs, fruits, vegetables and just about anything.

Use this water to wash down your countertops and ranges to remove grease. Sterilize your hands, mop your floor. It does not require a " harmful for children" sign on it.
