I've been a vegetarian for most of my life. My wife, Hollace became a vegetarian after our last son was born. That was about 12 years ago. All our children were brought up on non-meat diets. But over the years we have come to believe that it is not only eating the right foods that will make us healthy. We must also include regular exercise and enough rest.
God has given us the simple diet of fruits, vegetables, grains, and nuts. This diet can do amazing things for us. If we follow this diet most or all of our health problems can improve significantly. A lot of healthy people today credit their meatless diet for their excellent health.
While we have been allowed to eat selected flesh foods - it truly is not the perfect diet for us. Meat was chosen because of changing times and the desires of human beings. But we can go back to the original diet because it is actually better for us.
